Jimmy is an experienced adventurer born and raised in the north of Sweden. Like many Swedes he has travelled the world in search of new adventures. Now he has finally decided to do an adventure just a short drive from home, to show his friends what Sweden has to offer.

Together with Linus and Jason he is going to ski Kungsleden, a 450 km long trail through the Swedish mountains. Jason from New Zealand is an experienced adventurer but this will be his first time on skis in the arctic. Linus has never done anything like this before. He has long dreamt of an adventure but always doubted that he could do it.


Maybe it is not that strange when adventures noticed today are often so extreme that people put their life at stake. It is like the focus lies on the danger and the risks being taken. But is that really what an adventure is all about?

The unabashed experimentation with drugs, sex and betrayal push the three models to the edge, yet they survive their collective crash to face reality. Together, they shine brightly for Nueva Moda modeling agency in the dark shadows of Madrid.

In screenwriter Helena Montesinos' story, we meet Veronica, Ana and Paula, three exuberant young women living in Madrid, Spain who all dream of somehow becoming supermodels.

Before they can begin launching their careers, the women are faced with the worst kind of distractions from the agency photographer, Miguel. Veronica quickly falls for Miguel who entraps her in his web of cocaine addiction, while Paula and Ana give in to Andres, the handsome young medical student.

The three women literally collapse on stage at times and fght with the Nueva Moda manager, Diana (played by Barbara de Lema) as they try to balance unfulflling romance with the dreams of their careers.

As the strikingly beautiful Veronica asserts herself against the grasp of Diana, Nueva Moda chief, Cesar (played by Inocencio Arias) blocks Diana's planned move to Barcelona. Ana, who is Paula's roommate, steals Andres and begins to date him without Paula catching them in the act. Miguel convinces Cesar to promote him to a new photographer post in Barcelona away from the watchful eye of Diana.

Paula erupts when she discovers that Ana is expecting a baby with Andres and Veronica leans on Paula to recover from Miguel. Diana fghts for Veronica's return to Nueva Moda, confronting Miguel in a last ditch effort that suddenly crumbles away.

Funny enough, Veronica and Miguel become an item and Paula forgives Ana for clinging to Andres in a heartfelt reunion fashion photoshoot with Miguel above the Madrid skyline.

An animated chamber play set during the darkest days of the year in a snow-capped Stockholm.

Buzzing neon lights glow on the dark walls of a Jugendstil apartment block. Inside, in the poorly lit stairwell a hardworking (and damn good) postman tries his best to do his job but the building and its tenants are not making life easy for him.

The story is leaning on the edge of dream and reality - the unexpected is never far away - drawing inspiration from the film makers own experiences as a postman in the area.

Beirut, in the months preceding the beginning of the civil war. Nobody seems to be aware they are living the end of an era.

Elie, a teenager keen on rock music, counterculture and other libertarian utopias of the 70's, feels trapped in his cramped conventional environment.

He religiously follows the programs of Sam, a radio host with a scathing and provocative tone, programs which in Elie's view represent this breath of freedom and modernity to which he aspires. He strikes up a friendship with Ramzi, a sassy and well-to-do schoolmate.

Their shared love for music draws them together straightaway; their shared attraction for Myriam, Elie's friend, will drive them apart.

The movie tells of the trajectory of a young man whose quest for the absolute will lead him to stumble on another reality, that of sectarianism and war, which in turn will drive him a long way away from the possibilities he had for himself.

As a child, I was often watching the lunar surface with binoculars from the window of my room.

In reality, the eyepiece was directed at the metal window opener. My room ceiling lamp re ected from the windows metal piece causing the dust particles on its surface to look similar to the granular television images of the Moon surface.

In my imagination this illusory view was substituted with the visible image of mind that I couldn’t actually see.

Also, the lm Dark Matter explores the images and the invisible world. The most mysterious and not visible building material in the universe, the dark mass, and tends to make it visible.

There Is Nothing New Under The Sun / IRAN / Faezeh sadat Alavi / Fiction / 12:13

A girl narrates her nightmares, and the boundaries of dream and reality start to fade and become indistinct.

She says that she was raped in her dreams and by telling us her story she is going to do the same with our minds. She dreams that she is pregnant and is continuously giving birth to bloody, dead foetuses, which she eats immediately after the delivery.

However, after the narration is finished, we see a male, not a female, protagonist going through all these events. When the protagonist is raped, the bulge of pregnancy appears on his head and not in his belly. He dreams of his mother, who had been murdered in Iraq, coming to his place with bags of shopping.

Then, an oppressive soldier with a machine gun enters his dreams and he is omnipresent.

After a few encounters with the soldier and due his temptations, the protagonist executes his mother in front of the camera.

Collectively the artwork works through a series of issues pertaining to gender representation, attraction and repulsion, fear and desire, and the external manifestation of internal pathologies.
